Our Charity for 2026

the Police Unity Tour

The History of the Police Unity Tour
The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty.
The secondary purpose of the UK tour is to raise funds for Care of Police Survivors, a U.K charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers who have lost their lives on duty.
I’m proud to have been part of the Police Unity Tour since 2016 both as a cyclist and Police Escort for the London Chapter. I’m humbled by the opportunity to “Ride for Those Who Died!“
Each cyclist wears a wristband for the duration of the tour detailing an officer that has lost their life in the line of duty.  This is then presented to the officers family at the National Arboretum in Stafordshire on what is also the Blue Knights Law Ride.
I have ridden the last few years in remembrance of PC Chris Miller who was killed in a motorcycle collision on his way into work. Every year I meet his two wonderful daughters (Autumn & Willow) their mum Michelle. They were too young to really remember their father so this is our chance to remember his sacrifice and to come together as a wider Police Family.  In 2021 my last duty as a Police Officer before retirement was to escort the Unity Tour into the Arboretum. An honour which I will never forget. Since then I have cycled each event and will continue to do so well into the future.
